Mark Bivens is Venture Partner at Great Wave Ventures. A serial entrepreneur turned venture capitalist, he has over two decades of investing experience across three continents, including Europe, the United States, and Japan. He is currently Managing Partner at Shizen Capital. Before becoming a venture capitalist, he co-founded three companies in Silicon Valley, including BirdView Technologies, which was acquired by Constellation Software. 

Mark holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Outside of work, he enjoys triathlon.
