Nobu is Managing Partner at Great Wave Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm where he has led investments in more than 50 startups since 2020 out of its New York City office. Before founding Great Wave, he was a senior investment professional at Bridgewater Associates, then the world’s largest hedge fund. Nobu began his career at McKinsey & Company and later managed warehouse operations at Amazon. He holds a BS in Chemistry from Yale College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Outside of work, Nobu enjoys classical music.
