Sayuri is a Partner at Great Wave Ventures, based in Tokyo. Before joining Great Wave, she worked at Pangaea Ventures and Universal Materials Incubator, focusing on advanced materials and deep-tech companies worldwide. Earlier in her career, she held roles in corporate finance and investment management, including at MUFG Bank and Dexia.

She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and discovering new places to eat.
