Shin is a Venture Partner at Great Wave Ventures. He has held C-suite roles at proptech and fintech startups in Japan. He began his career in investment banking at BofA (formerly Merrill Lynch) and later worked at Blackstone, focusing on real estate private equity investments. He currently serves as an independent advisor to corporates across real estate, hospitality, and technology, and is Co-Chair of ULI Japan’s NEXT, a platform for emerging real estate leaders.

Shin holds a BA in Business and Commerce from Keio University and an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. Outside of work, he enjoys hip hop and house music.
